ISFO is an international umbrella organisation representing the interests of National Development Banks and Value-Driven Financial Institutions from across the globe.

It is a corporate entity registered under the German civil law established as a result of the cooperation between international partners; the Associations of Development Financing Institutions in Asia and the Pacific (ADFIAP), member countries of the Islamic Development Bank (ADFIMI), Development Finance Institutions in Africa (AADFI) and the European Organisation for Sustainable Development.
